We want to wish all our mothers a very happy Mother's Day.
Our new book of the Alaskan Myth and Legend series finally has a name, 'The Hairy Man of Paluwik'. The book is completed and edited and is out for review. The next step is the cover design and printing. We hope to have the book on the market by the end of summer, however the publisher has the final word as to when it will be available.
The second book in the series is already in the works and the writing has begun. This story will center around a good sea monster, 'Gunakadeit', from legends of the Tlinket, Haida and Tsimshian people. The exact local for the story has not been determined and will need a little more research, but we are looking at Ketchikan and Haines/Skagway.
Our snow is almost completely gone and a few blades of green grass are showing. Our greenhouse is full of plants waiting to mature enough to be planted outside, as well as waiting for the temperatures to get a bit warmer.
We have lots of clean up in the garden and yard, just like we're sure you all do.
Have a fantastic spring!
